LOUIS DOUGLAS

Louis Douglas was 59 years old, he was born March 24, 1960 to Lizzie Ware and Mac Douglas in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lizzie Ware his mother, Mac Douglas his father, Rosena Douglas his 1st wife and Andrew Meyers, Jr. all preceded him in death. Louis was a student of the Kansas City public school district. He worked for Natural Ray Sky Lights, air craft industry and a security guard. He married Rosena Douglas on August 25, 1988. He then married Andrea Miller. On April 15, 2018 he rededicated his life to Christ. Louis was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, grandpa and great grandpa. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He departed his life on March 1, 2019 in the comfort of his own home. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Andrea Douglas; daughter, Brandi Bowman; son, Andrew Meyers, Sr.; six grandchildren, Tyteona Meyers, Isaiah Bowman, Breanna Miley, John Miley, Jr., Jeremiah Smith, Alayia Smith; three great grandchildren, Ty'veaz Coppage, Ty'veair Grace, Peyton Miley, fifteen brothers and sisters, Jimmie (Karen) Douglas, Wade (Diane) Douglas, Mack C. Douglas, Jack Douglas, Roy Douglas, Evangel Douglas, Varum Douglas, Willie Douglas, Annette Douglas, Izetta Douglas, Lavonda Douglas, Janice Smith, Jackie Smith, Alberta Smith; one special person, Elmer Tillman and a host of nephews, nieces, other relative and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel.  Visitation 9:00 A.M.  Interment Brooking Cemetery.
