SEARCY L. BAILEY  

Searcy L. Bailey, 94 was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on August 31, 1925 and departed this life on September 27, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri. Searcy confessed the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at the age of 14, at the Church of Christ in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Searcy married Annie (Miller) Bailey on January 5, 1957. He was a member of the Church of Christ (Located on Swope Parkway) in Kansas City, Mo., and later became a faithful member of the Downtown Church of Christ  (located on Van Brunt) in Kansas City, Mo., where he served various roles including Deacon, Treasurer and Teacher of the Men’s Training Class. He leaves to mourn his passing, while cherishing his memory; two brothers, Harvey Bailey and Daniel Bailey, and one sister Freda Bailey. He also leaves a son Carl Bailey, Sr., several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Downtown Church of Christ 2010 Van Brunt Blvd. KCMO. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
