DALE GREEN Obituary

Dale Martin Green Sr.,was born December 15, 1929 in Kansas City Kansas to James William Green Jr. and Elizabeth “Bessie” Ardelia Green.

 

He was educated in Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools and  graduated from Sumner High School.

 

Dale married Dorothy J. Green on July 26,1949.  God blessed their union with six children. The family moved to Kansas City Missouri on Thanksgiving day in 1960.

 

His wife Dorothy Green his daughter Joslyn Ivory and son  James Darryl Green preceded him in death.       

 

He accepted Christ in 1984,was baptized at Pleasant Green Baptist Church by Reverend David L. Gray. In 1990 he joined Palestine Missionary Baptist Church were he was a member of the Pastors

Committee.

 

Dale was a General Forman in the Paint Department at General Motors Fairfax in Kansas City Kansas were he retired.

 

Dale’s hobbies were remodeling and flipping houses,golf,fishing,bowling,hunting and playing Bid Whist and domino’s.

 

Dale has gone to join his parent’s,brother’s Clifford,Kenneth,Wendell ,Alfred and James and sisters Erma and Jeanette.

 

Dale leaves to mourn his sister Anna Locke, four children,Dale Green Jr.(Sandra),Regina Bailey,Debra Davis,Bernice Wright(Larry);grandchildren,Minister Sean Green(Angie),Damion Green Sr.,Terrick Green,Cardon Bolen(Latoya),Korroy Davis(LaShawnte’),Tennille Muhammad(Hassan)Colby Green(Britney),Eddie Watts (Ashley),Kiara Davis, Chlo’e Singleton,J’mil Watts(Tiffany) and Cameron Green; twenty eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. And a special niece Romaine Green.

Services Friday, August 14, 2020 10 am at Watkins Heritage Chapel, visitation 9 am.  Interment in Brooking Cemetery. Service streamed at: www,mstcsunset.com
