FRANKIE S. GILMORE

Frankie S. Gilmore Sr. 63 was born in Jacksonville Florida on September 25, 1956. Both parents Frank Roland Sr and Lillian (Gilmore) of Lambert Mississippi preceded him in death.  Frankie attended Manuel High School and later received his General Education High School Equivalency Diploma and earned college credits. Frank had multiple jobs, one working at Deffenbaugh waste management in his youth and later in his adulthood. He was blessed to have many talents; craftsman and was self-employed. He married his childhood sweetheart Deborah Bledsoe and became a widower in 2015. Frankie was a Phenomenal person who spent his time helping others. Frankie loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, bar-b-q, sports, outdoors, telling stories and traveling. Frank will be remembered by: his children, Natashia Walker (Cynthia Walker), Frankie S. Gilmore Jr., (Margie Griddine) Matthew Gilmore Sr., and John Gilmore, Stepdaughters Brenda Dunbar (Mariann Dunbar), brother's, Hubert Roland, Anthony Gilmore, Wilbert Johnson, Anthony Roland, Franklin Joseph Roland, Marcus Roland (All of Kansas City, Mo), Larry Roland (St. Louis, Mo), Charles White (Marks, MS), sister's Lillian Gilmore,(of Columbia Maryland), Cynthia Gilmore,  Karen Roland, Crystal Roland, Christina Roland and Cecily Roland (all of Kansas City Mo) A host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his sisters Diane Gilmore, Mary Ann Roland, brothers Travis Roland Sr and Frank Roland Jr.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. KCMO 64130. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Interment in Brooking Cemetery.
