KEVIN DWAYNE BRITTON

Kevin Dwayne Britton Sr. was a resident of Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on March 2, 1964 and was received into glory on March 25, 2019. This oracle of God has been a student of the word for over twenty years. Kevin was a God-fearing, family orientated person. He served his family, the church and the community diligently.

Kevin worked in IT for over a decade. He served as the executive director of The Metropolis, a local nonprofit faith-based, community services organization before the Lord called him home. While some knew Kevin as a homebody, those near and dear to his heart often witnessed his humorous side. He enjoyed old western movies, rollercoasters, field trips with his children, and giving his wife a hard time.

He leaves with loving memories his wife, Dr. Kimberly R. Britton, two sons; Kevin D. Britton, Jr (Brittney Britton), Jacque Pierre Britton (deceased), five daughters; Brittany Starr-Jackson (Anthony Jackson), Jannine Britton, Devin Britton (Chris Harris), Naomi Britton (Adrian Williams), and Kimberly Ashton Britton, all residents of Kansas City, Missouri, granddaughter, A’mya Britton, grandsons; Kevin Britton III, Kamden Britton, Kaleb Britton, Korbin Britton, Anthony Jackson III, Kayvion Jackson, Jayshawn Jackson,  Isaiah Jackson and a host of other relatives, friends, and his community.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Twelve Gates Memorial Gardens.
