Linda Ragsdale Obituary

Linda C. Williams Ragsdale 70, of Kansas City, Missouri, was born to Walter M. Sr. and Mary Ruth Little on March 1, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the oldest child born to this union. Preceding her in death are parents, sister Mary Ruth Davis, one nephew and one great niece. Linda received her formal education in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.  Our beloved Linda was a proud 1971 high school graduated of Paseo High School.   After high school she furthered her education at Penn Valley Community College. Later she received her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.  Linda was a high achiever; she was employed with the US Postal Service; became an entrepreneur owning her own night club “Hurricane.”  Her success didn’t stop here, she retired from the Internal Revenue Services as a Tax Examiner.  She was a woman about business.  Linda was not only about the business of ownership; she was about loving on her family. Nevertheless, she was a “people person.” She loved her family and her family loved her.  Linda was a spiritual woman she not only new the Lord, but she had a personal relationship with Him, and at an early age she dedicated her life to Him.   Because of her commitment to serve Him, she united with her families New Jerusalem Church of God of Christ in Kansa City, Kansas. Under the leadership of Walter M. Little Sr. (Father).  One of her favorite scriptures was Psalms 23.  Linda was very outgoing.  She loved to travel and a few of her favorite destinations were Oceanside, California and Jamaica.   However, we can’t forget she loved to hear the money machines “ching-ching” and she loved to shop for shoes, clothes and get her grub on.  A few of her favorite restaurants were Arthur Bryant’s, Gates, and Peachtree.  It was something about those smothered porkchops that she loved.  Linda leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to two daughters Rosalind R. McDonald of Fort Worth, TX; Lakeisha D. Ragsdale of Kansas City, Missouri; two sons: Rosezell C. Williams Jr., John-J Ragsdale of Kansas City, Missouri; Sister Sherly R. Tatum of Kansas City, Missouri; Brother Walter M. Little Jr; Brother-in-law Lesley Davis Sr. of Kansas City, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, 7 great children and a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:30p.m. om Friday, March 13, 20202 at Mt.
