Lucille accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age attending Mariah Walker Church under the leadership of the Late Rev. A L Carter, Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ under the leadership of the late Rev. Everetta McKenzie and Evangelist Temple COGIC under the leadership of the late Bishop SR Chambers. Lucille raised her children to praise and worship the Lord as her Mother raised her.
