Jessie Lee Smith, 78 departed this life on June 23, 2023 in Kansas City, Mo. He was born on September 22, 1944 in Mississippi to Susie Mae Elam and James Smith.
Jessie specialized in import cars and opened J & S Imports in the early 80’s he owned and operated for over 40 years. He loved traveling, barbecuing, family gatherings and most of all his family.
Jessie married Emma Lee Hill in 1961, loving father to this union 4 children. He later remarried on September 15, 1979 Rosa Lee Moses and to this union 2 children.
He is preceded in death by his parents Susie Mae Elam and James Smith, his brother Eclophia Smith, wife Rose Smith, ex-wife Emma Smith and Nephew Carl Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Carla, Jesse, Sherry, Timothy, Jessica and Henry. Grandchildren James, Roberta, Jimmy, Jeremiah, Tamika, Fantasia, Mykael, Amara and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
