Lewis Pearson was born on July 17,1959 in Eudora Arkansas to Sylvia Taylor and Louis Pierson.
He was raised in Eudora Arkansas where he attended primary and high school until his senior year. After the passing of his mother he moved to Rock Island,Illinois,with his father, where he completed his senior year at Rock Island High School. After high school, he attended Community College at Black Hawk in Moline, Illinois.
Lewis moved to Kansas City Missouri in the early 80's, where he established roots. He had three children Lexia, Patricia and Louis that was the most important part of his life. He was a devoted brother helping his older sister Gloria Pierson-Thomas raise their younger siblings.
He had long employment with Pizza Hut, Hallmark Cards and Kellogg's where he was still employed.
Lewis was a hard worker that enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved travel, sports and being around family. He will be remembered for his charm, style and the way he loved us all.
He accepted Christ and was a member of Prince of Peace in Kansas City, Missouri.
Lewis passed on October 13, 2021 at the age of 62.He is preceded in death by his father Louis Pierson, mother Sylvia Taylor, brothers Webster Dixon Jr. and Joseph Clark Sr. and sister Nina Taylor-Stewart
He survived by his daughters, Lexia Eades (Michael) of Kansas City, Missouri and Patricia Pearson of Jacksonville, Florida; his son Louis Pearson of San Diego, California; one grandson Milex Eades of Kansas City, Missouri; five sisters, Martha Gant of Kansas City, Missouri, Gloria Pierson-Thomas(Albert) of Eudora, Arkansas, Margaret Pierson of Denver, Colorado, Patricia Carroll (Donald) of Irving, Texas and Melanie Pierson of New Jersey; four brothers, Michael Pierson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Melvin Pierson of Chicago, Illinois, Willie Elliott of Irving, Texas and Michael Taylor of Lake Village, Arkansas; two uncles, Fred Pierson of Rock Island, Illinois and Ernest Pierson of Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021,11:00am at the Watkins Heritage Chapel. Private Disposition. Visitation will be from 9am-11am at the chapel. Service conducted by Watkins Heritage Chapel. Condolences may shared on our website.
