Mr. Reginald Pauley Obituary

Reginald Lee Pauley was born January 16, 1957, to Willie Mae Pauley. He was the youngest son of 7 siblings and born and raised in Kansas City, MO.

Reginald joined Emmanuel Baptist Church and was baptized in 1966. He attended Katherine B. Richardson Elementary School and graduated from Southeast High School in May 1975.

Reginald joined the US Navy in June 1975 and served on the USS Enterprise for four years. After honorably discharging from the military, he entered civil service and joined the United States Post Office completing 39 years of service and retiring in 2015.

Reginald married Sandra Davis April 13, 1985. They were married for 38 years and had two daughters. Reginald was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was a loyal fan of the Oakland Raiders and American Negro League. Some of his favorite pastimes included finding deals at Cargo Largo, nicknamed the Bargain Shopper, being a history buff, artist, foodie, watch connoisseur and man of style - very particular in what he would wear.

Reginald departed life on January 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother and siblings, Willie Pearl, Ronald Dee, Shirly Jean, Lonnie Eugene, and nephew, Darren Eugene.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sandra Pauley; daughters, Orielle Pauley and Reaundra Higgins (Gary); sisters, Ruby Beaves and Toni Groves (James); brother, Danny Pauley; and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, 11:00am at the Watkins Heritage Chapel. Visitation 9:00am-11:00am at the chapel. Interment: Forest Hill Cemetery. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel Condolences may be shared on our website.
