Mr. Robert S. Caldwell

Robert Sidney Caldwell was born February 15, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to the late James Houston Winfrey Sr. & Tessie Lee Caldwell Winfrey.

Robert passed away on February 23, 2024 at his home.

Robert graduated from East High School class of 1967 where he played basketball and also at Westminster College in Fulton, MO where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Robert married Sharon Miller in 1967 and two daughters were born to this union.

Robert worked at TWA, Bendix and later retired from American Airlines. He enjoyed playing basketball, working on cars and traveling with his friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents James Houston Winfrey Sr. & Tessie Lee Caldwell Winfrey, his brothers James H. Winfrey, Jr. and Johnny L. Caldwell, his sister- in-law Charlene Winfrey & brother- in- law Edward Chow, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Robin Williams (Mike) , Shawnda Steele (Darius) , his sister and brothers; Charlene Chow, William Caldwell, Ronald Caldwell, his sister-in-law Nebraska Caldwell, grandchildren; Robert Austin, Dillon Michael, Sophia Leigh Steele and Myca Michelle Williams; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, 2pm at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Service conducted by Watkins Heritage Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
