Rena was proud to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had the amazing opportunity to be baptized at the 2019 “Love Never Fails” international convention held in St. Louis, Missouri. Her relationship with Jehovah gave her the strength and courage to face any trial that came her way. She enjoyed having a share in the ministry weekly and sharing the good news to all.
Rena graduated from the Kansas City, Missouri School District and attended college/training to become a CNA where she worked for various nursing homes. While attending training for her CNA certification she became a school bus driver to support herself and her two kids. This is where Rena was introduced to her now husband Dwayne and they have been married for 20 years. She was employed by the Grandview School District.
Rena was family-oriented, she loved having family barbecues, picnics and movie nights outside on projector. She also loved gardening, decorating her home, learning about her family history and traveling. Rena, Dwayne and the kids would travel to different places during the summer like Chicago, IL; Atlanta, Ga; Washington D.C; San Diego, CA; Williamsburg, VA; San Antonio, TX; Virginia Beach, VA; Orlando, FL and St. Louis, MO and Branson, MO.
