Ms. Alice McCullough Obituary

Alice "Molly" (Webb) McCullough was born September 4, 1947, and raised in Kansas City, MO. to Lafayette Webb Sr. and Mary Alice (Bentley) Webb. To that union a total of 5 boys and 1 girl were born. Her father, mother, and five brothers Eugene I. Webb Sr., Lafayette Webb Jr., George Webb, Vinson Webb of Denver, CO., & Thomas D. Webb Sr., of KCMO. Two brother-in-laws Norman McCullough of Dallas, TX and Walter McCullough of Jonesboro, AR, two sister-in-laws Faye Vanpelt, and Lillian L. Cobb of Jonesbor, AR preceded her in death.

Alice "Molly" grew up with family and church members knowing her only as "Molly". Some family members discovered "Alice" during high school and the rest long after she was grown. She went to school at George Washington Carver, Sanford B. Ladd, and Central Jr. and Senior. She received a 2-year scholarship to Lincoln University of Missouri and was voted Sweetheart of the Sophomore Dorm during her freshman year. After college, Molly moved to Los Angeles until the riot of KCMO. She received a phone call from her mother saying "your daddy needs you here to help with the boys'.

Molly came home, straightened her brothers and some of their friends out and stayed. She worked at Mobil Oil from a Clerk to Auditor Human Resource Rep. for 29 years and part time/full time at General Electric for 15 years.

Alice while at Mobil Oil met and married her loving husband George E. McCullough on November 20, 1981, and also acquired 3 wonderful children, 1 girl Tracey Brunson-Hill, Long Beach, CA, and twin boys Ronald A. McCullough, Wichita, KS., and Richard B. McCullough, KCMO.

Alice was part of the Big Sisters program doing volunteer work at the Nile home and working in the neighborhoods making cookies and bread for the youth. She always was trying to help where needed. After both jobs downsized, she worked for 1 company for the next 15 years, but it changed names 3 times: 1st Equifax, RMA, and then NCO.

Alice Molly turned on her retirement after December 2010. Alice Molly was born and raised at MSCC KCMO on the Usher Board as a youth. After becoming a young adult, she moved into the Choir at Universal Spiritual Church. She went to Congress in July 1983 and was appointed International President of the Music Dept. by Dr. I. Logan Kearse and held that position for over 39 years. She served as Choir President at Universal Spiritual Church for many years until she left and came back to Metropolitan Spiritual Church where she served as Usher Board President, Usher Overseer, First District Choir President, and for 1 year Choir President at MSCC, Team Leader of Finance over the 52-week Rainy Day Fund, and Treasurer of the Music Department. She traveled all through the United States, also to Athens Greece, Paris France, many parts of Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, & Barbados. She had a very good life. Alice "Molly" McCullough departed this life on September 21, 2023.

She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life: Her loving husband George E. McCullough of Kansas City, KS., one daughter Tracey Brunson-Hill (Donnie) of Long Beach, CA., & Las Vegas, NV., and twin sons Ronald A. McCullough (Crystal) of Wichita, KS., and Richard B. McCullough (Toni) of Kansas City, MO., an adopted son Bishop James Bryant (Lady Robyn) KCMO & NJ., 23 grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She leaves three sister-in-laws Dorothy Webb (Gene Sr., decd), Rose Webb (Lafayette Jr., decd), and Willa Webb (George A. Webb Sr. decd) of Kansas City, MO., one brother-in-law Lenzy McCullough & one sister-in-law Daisy Linda Young of Jonesboro, AR., and a host of nieces, nephews, greats and greats cousins, relatives, and friends.
