Obituary

Alice Martin Bruce Roath was born May 13th, 1938 and departed this life on July 17th, 2022. She was the first born of three children in Osceola Missouri her parents Eslean Bruce Brown and Joseph Looney Sr. Alice relocated to Kansas City when she was two years old.  Alice was reared in the Kansas City Missouri public schools.  Alice married Rueben Roath Sr. and married on January 16th, 1952, and to that union 9 children were born. Alice loved to travel, watch western movies and shopping.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her children Kyle Roath and Deborah Roath Sailor, one sister Jacqueline Bruce, one niece Linda G’nell Bruce and one nephew Simulondoe Bruce.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Teresa Roath, Ethel Roath Kimberly Williams and Robin Roath. Her sons Rueben Roath Jr, Duane Roath all of Kansas City Missouri and Bruce Roath of Houston Texas. One sister Linda McKenzie (David). Her favorite cousin Pauline Webb. 26 Grandchildren, 50 Great Grandchildren and 25 Great Great children and a host of nephews’ nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, 11:00am at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at the chapel. Service conducted by Watkins Heritage Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
