Ms. Taaj Baheyadeen Obituary

Taaj Kabriyyah Baheyadeen was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 7, 1982 to Aasim and Majeeda Baheyadeen. She was the youngest of 12 children.

Taaj attended and graduated from the Islamic School of Kansas City, in 2000. After high school she attended Penn Valley Community College before being honorably accepted to the Institut European des Sciences Humaines in Chinou, France in September 20, 2001 where she pursued her studies of Islamic Religion and the Quran. Her time abroad allowed her to explore different countries and gain vast knowledge, experiences and friends. Taaj returned to Kansas City and shortly relocated with her sister, Majeeda Zakiyyah to Las Vegas, where her older brother Agama and family resided. While in Las Vegas, she decided to pursue her education in Culinary Arts. 

Taaj was preceded in death by her father Aasim Baheyadeen and brother Jamil Hoffman (Baheyadeen). 

She is survived by her mother Majeeda Baheyadeen, Auntie Mattie Moore and her siblings Anthony Turner (Tina), YahYa Baheyadeen (Monishu), Murad Baheyadeen (Zandra), Majeeda Z. Baheyadeen, A’gama Baheyadeen (Lakeesha), Robin Hoffman, Timothy Hoffman, Nathaniel Hoffman, Clyde Hoffman (LaShaunda), and Wallace Hoffman (Keisa).

She leaves behind 41 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
