Ollie (Morton) Johnson Obituary

Ollie Roberta Mae (Morton) Johnson, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on October 21, 2019 at the age of 86.  She was born to Milford Devin Morton and Willetta Bryant on May 11, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was the second of four children born to that union.

Ollie later became a member of St. Therese Little Flower where she served as a Eucharistic minister and won several Altar Society chili cook-off’s.

She married Richard Johnson on March 31, 1981 in Kansas City Missouri at St. Therese Little Flower. The ceremony was performed by her son Pastor Cedric L. Smith.

Ollie was preceded in death by her father, mother, one sister, Mary (Morton) McKay, three brothers George, Marvin J., and William Morton; husband Richard Johnson and two children Faye L. (smith) Montgomery and Cedric L. Smith.

She is survived by her sister Ruby Clinton, eight daughters, Hazel McAllister, Helen (Mal) Brewer, Ophelia Smith, Stephanie Smith, LaWanda Lamar, Donna (Stanford) Wheeler, Willetta (Ralph) Eskridge, Larice Smith, three sons Albert (Paula) Smith, Frederick Smith, and Robert Williams, one daughter-in-law, Brenda Smith, 33-grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would like to thank all the care givers for their loving, caring and attentive care shown to our loved one for the past two years.
