Rosemary Smith, the daughter of the late Leo and Melvia Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 23, 1947. She was the third child of four. Rosemary succumbed March 16, 2020 at home in Kansas City, Missouri.
She graduated from Central High School in 1965. She attended Metropolitan Community College after graduation.
Rosemary was employed with the Internal Revenue Service as a Data Transcriber in the early seventies. She worded her way to Data Conversion Manager. She retired from the IRS in 2002.
Rosemary didn’t have children but loved babies. Her favorite hobby was shopping.
Her parents Leo and Melvia Smith, siblings; Henry, Annie and Melvin all preceded her in death.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memory her Godson; Danon Vincent, Spring, Texas, Goddaughter; Alizjah “LaLa” Mitchell, Kansas City, Missouri, cousin; Felicia Marks, Searcy Arkansas, friends; Eunice Vincent, Raytown,Missouri, Vernestine Washington, Harrisonville, Missouri, Doretha Robinson, Melva Piburn, neighbors; James Ward, Al Cannagin, all from Kansas City, Missouri and a host of cousins and friends.
