Veronica Lynn "Ronnie" Wright

Veronica Lynn “Ronnie” Wright was born October 17th, 1966 to Ira Williams and Helen Wright.  She attended school in the Kansas City Missouri School District.  She was a past member of Bethel Baptist Church under Rev. JJ Woods.  Ronnie was a hard and dedicated worker employed by Blount Industries for many years. Ronnie had a warm smile and Laugh that lifted up the atmosphere and a huge loving heart.  She never met a stranger.  She loved her family altogether and individually, especially her children and grandchildren.  She was one of the few moms that didn’t want her kids to ever “move out”.  

She was full of life and love.  Ronnie was a dedicated…die hard “Chiefs Fan”.  She loved so many and so much.  She had a love for hats, music and she loved taking pictures.  She was the life of the family gatherings and she will be deeply missed. Ronnie was preceded in death by: her mother Helen Wright and her father Ira Williams, her maternal grandmother Laura Belle Wright and aunts, uncles and cousins.  

She leaves to mourn her passing: 2 daughters Nakesha Bryant (Maurice) and Makeeshah Hill.  1 son Clifton Hill III (Jackee). 5 grandchildren Robert Deberry IV, Ryan Wright, Makih Roe, Sonya’ Callis-Stuckey and Maurice Bryant Jr. 4 sisters Carla Tindall (James, Samantha Wright (Olden), Laurie Keeling (Michael) and Ebony Williams.  1 brother Darick Wright, 3 Aunts Betty Mitchell (Dorsey), Geneva Abbott and Marie Boyd.  1 uncle Herbert Brown. A host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.  Her kindness, her smile, her laughter, her joyous personality, her festive character and all the love she showed to so many will be missed but cherished forever.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, November 6th at Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver Blvd KCMO 64130. Visitation 10am. Interment Twelve Gates Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
