WILLIE DILLARD, JR.

Willie Dillard, Jr. was born on September 2, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Jerusha Dillard. As the youngest of three children, Willie was a loving and dedicated son to his mother.

At an early age Willie confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Willie was educated in the schools of Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated Class of 1972 from Paseo High School.

Always a joyful person, Willie loved to make others laugh. You were guaranteed to be part of or listening to a joke if he was around. There was never a dull moment or a quiet room if Willie was in the house. Willie’s greatest treasure was spending time with his family and friends.

On January 19, 2021 Willie was called home by his Heavenly Father. 

He is preceded in death by his father Willie Dillard, Sr. as well as both sisters, Willa Jewel Washington and Linda Scott.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are: His beloved mother, Jerusha Dillard. Several nieces,Trishon Washington, Kansas City, MO., Erica (Jason) Williams, Atlanta, Ga., Robin (Kennedy) Apana, Orlando, Fl.,  and one nephew, Darryl K. Washington, Kansas City, MO. One brother in law, Darryl (Pennie) Kansas City, MO, along with many other nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be held on January 29, 2021 at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery at 6901 Troost Ave.

**Due to COVID – 19 and CDC restrictions immediate family only at the services. The funeral services will be streamed. There will be no repass nor will visitors be accepted at the family home. **
